Electric vehicles are all the buzz, and if there's one brand you can count on to deliver groundbreaking vehicle designs that are entirely ahead of the curve, it's Hino Motors, Ltd. With its recent press release in early October, the commercial truck manufacturer took the industry by storm as it announced a full lineup of zero-emission trucks, ranging from class 4 to class eight, through a close partnership with leading tech developers.
Hino Motors Ltd. Looks to the Future with Zero-Emission Electric Trucks
Imagine a world in which your business operates at maximum efficiency without requiring any fuel expenses. This eco-friendly utopia may soon be made a reality through the automaker's recently-released ZEV (zero-emission vehicles). Products within this all-electric commercial truck family include a Hino XL series class 8 tractor motivated by a fuel cell engineered by the brand's parent company, Toyota Motor Corporation. Other released models include a class 7 tractor equipped with an electric battery and Hino XL Series class 8 box truck motivated by a fully-electric system.
Hexagon Purus, a subsidiary of Hexagon Composites, was also just awarded an order for the purchase of three Hino trucks rolled into their plan for Project Z. Hexagon Purus aims to be the source for battery packs and their assimilation throughout the range of Hino trucks. Production is now in motion within the upcoming years.
